Establishing one’s career in today’s competitive industries has become a challenging pursuit to most job seekers. Employers too are increasingly having difficulty finding the right person for the job. Too often, there remains a huge gap between the skills required by the industry and what a graduate has to offer.

STI steps up to bridge this gap by introducing the Enrollment to Employment or E2E System. The E2E System is a complete approach to human resource development, which aims to develop ICT-enabled professionals through innovative learning and career planning methodologies. Through the E2E System, STI students get applicable education, job market skills, job preparedness, and job placement assistance.
 The first step is the Learning Systems Development which ensures that the curriculum content is up-to-date and job market-oriented. A group of exemplary professionals in various fields prepares the curriculum/curricula being taught in all STI campuses.

To make sure that the courses being offered are carried out well, STI implements the Academic Delivery System. This guarantees that highly qualified faculty and the state-of-the-art facilities of campuses are at par with the standardized courseware and curriculum, thus providing world class learning across all STI campuses.

The third step, Student Certification, assures that students are prepared for employment through rigid assessment, evaluation, and certificate programs. Before the students leave the security of their four-walled classrooms, they are given the opportunity to undergo on-the-job training with some of STI’s reputable partner companies.

STI’s responsibility to its graduates goes beyond quality education. The final step, Job Placement Assistance, warrants every graduate employment support with the help of Interactive - Career Assistance Recruitment System (I-CARES) and international placement agencies like GROW, INC.

STI College Iloilo Admission Requirements

 The following requirements must be submitted at the Registrar's Office before a student is admitted to any CHED or TESDA academic program at STI.

Freshmen

• Form 138 (Original Copy of un-cancelled 4th year high school report card)
• Copy of high school diploma
• Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by H.S. Guidance Counselor / Principal
• Certified true copy of Birth Certificate
• Two 2"x2" colored photographs

Transferees (STI or Non-STI Students)

• Certificate of Transfer (Honorable Dismissal)
• Certified true copy of Grades
• Two 2"x2" colored photographs
• Certified true copy of Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Good Moral Character from the Dean / Administrator of the previous school

Returnees

• Certificate of Transfer (Honorable Dismissal)
• Certified true copy of Grades
• Two 2"x2" colored photographs
• Certified true copy of Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Good Moral Character from the Dean / Administrator of the previous school
• No record of academic deficiency status of dismissal, exclusion or expulsion in his / her last term at STI including unofficial Leave of Absence
• For those with previous academic or behavior delinquency status, interview with the Academic Head is required.

Cross Enrollees

• Permit to cross enroll from the Registrar of the mother school indicating the course, units, school year, and specific school to admit the student
• Two 2"x2" colored photographs
• Certificate of Good Moral Character from the Guidance Counselor / Student Affairs Coordinator of the mother schools

Information and Communications Technology

 With the ICT programs, you will develop in-demand skills in the design, application, management and support of computer systems and data communication networks. Graduates of the program shall acquire specialized skills in software design, systems development, web development and multimedia systems – strong skills desired by top companies around the world.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

This four-year program is designed to produce analytical and practical professionals with sufficient depth of knowledge in applying, designing, and implementing computer systems. It provides students with fundamental concepts and techniques in software and hardware design with a foundation in programming, algorithm development, computer architecture, operating systems, and networks.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

This program is designed to provide students the knowledge to successfully apply information technology and its principles. It focuses on business, communication and technology, in-depth knowledge in systems analysis and design, computer programming, database development, network technology, web technology, and project planning.

2 - yr. Computer and Electronics Technology(CET)

The Computer and Electronics Technology is a two-year program which aims to provide students with the technical skills to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware systems. In particular, the program starts by familiarizing students with the fundamentals of electricity and electronics, and then trains them in basic and advanced troubleshooting including network systems and operations. The program is designed to provide students with a broad perspective of computer systems. It also hones students’ skills in setting up and troubleshooting computer networks. Furthermore, it provides a balanced education and training in computer technology through the inclusion of software-related courses. It also familiarizes the students with the electronic and computer hardware technologies that can prepare them for more advanced computer hardware or engineering programs. The curriculum requires students to undergo on-the-job training to ensure that the skills learned in the program will be put into use.
