STI holds 2nd Voice of the Youth National Oratorical Contest

Young individuals from almost 600 private and public high schools across the country went head to head in their quest to become the first National Champion of the Voice of the Youth National Oratorical Competition. And now on its 2nd year, student orators from select schools nationwide will once again speak up their minds.

The Voice of the Youth National Oratorical Competition is a learning opportunity for high school students as it encourages them to write and deliver original orations that will inspire belief or reinforce conviction.  This competition is a joint venture among STI and its network of schools, the STI Foundation, National Youth Commission (NYC), and the Department of Education (DepEd).

The 2nd Voice of the Youth National Oratorical Competition is an annual academic competition that aims to develop in the youth the ability to think critically, and have the confidence to express their thoughts in English; provide a venue for students to express their thoughts about the situation they are in and the conditions that affect their lives; and inspire students to motivate, influence, and inform others through the art of public speaking.
