STI College Iloilo , member of the STI Education Services Group, joined the entire nation in celebrating Buwan ng Wika! The College thru the General Education Council commences the celebration with Laro ng Lahi held last August 12, 2011 at the STI Grounds. STiers in all year levels participated, competed, and enjoyed various Filipino games to wit: Chinese Garter, Kick, Leg Race, Bunong Braso, Jumping Rope, Patintero, Limbo Rock and Scavengers Hunt. Culminating the month-long celebration was Academic and Cultural contests were also held last August 31 at STI Main Building Lobby. Events included poster making, declamation, impromptu and vocal solo.
