STI College Iloilo, member of the STI Education Services
Group, will be sending selected student to compete in the National Talent
Search on August 26, 2011 at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The
National Talent Search, which features Battle of the Bands, Singing Idol, Hataw
Sayaw and the Search for Mr and Miss STI 2011, is one of the highlights of STI
Education and Services Group’s 28th Anniversary Celebration.
STI College Iloilo recently dominated the Regional Cluster
Talent Search held last August 3, 2011 at SM City Iloilo. The College will be
representing the Western Visayas Cluster in the Singing Idol, Ms STI and Battle of the Bands
categories while STI College Bacolod and STI Education Center Bacolod will
represent Hataw Sayaw and Mr. STI
respectively.
STIers from the different STI Education Center and Colleges
in Western Visayas once again gathered to celebrate The 28th STI Anniversary. With
the theme, The Change I Want to See Begins with Me, the month long
celebration kicked off with the Regional Talent Search held last August 3, 2011
at the Event Center of SM City Iloilo. Participants from STI College Kalibo,
Bacolod, Iloilo and STI Education Center Bacolod competed showed all that they’ve got in the Battle of
the Bands, Singing Idol, Hataw Sayaw and the much awaited Search for Mr and
Miss STI Western Visayas. This year’s winners are: Jaacs Band of STI College
Iloilo (Battle of the Bands); Kathy Luto of STI College Iloilo (Singing Idol); CPA
Dancers of STI College Bacolod (Hataw Sayaw); Carleen Stephanie Ramirez of STI
College Iloilo (Ms STI Western Visayas); Marlon Himplaran of STI Education
Center (Mr. STI Western Visayas).
Winners in the regional cluster competition will represent
Western Visayas in the national finals which will be held at Enchanted Kingdom
in Sta Rosa Laguna on August 26, 2011.
